Laxmmi Bomb: Kareena Kapoor’s Boyfriend From Jab We Met To Join Akshay Kumar And Kiara Advani Starrer

Tarun Arora aka Anshuman, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s boyfriend from Jab We Met has bagged a meaty role in Hindi remake of Muni, titled Laxmmi Bomb starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani.

Teaser of Akshay Kumar's next Mission Mangal and massive box office figures of Kiara Advani's latest release Kabir Singh, have set in both these actors in the celebratory moods. Yet another reason for these stars to be in the news is their collaboration for Raghava Lawrence’s directorial Laxmmi Bomb. Film went on floors in studios in April. Recent news piece from Mumbai Mirror confirms yet another addition to the cast of this horror-comedy. Makers have roped in Tarun Arora to play the antagonist on the remake as well.



Just to shed light on who is Tarun Arora, for avid Bollywood followers, he was last seen in Jab We Met as Kareena Kapoor Khan’s discourteous boyfriend Anshuman. While for the audience of South film industry they have seen him in several movies in their region. Director Raghava feels Tarun is an apt choice, considering his body of work in the original flick Kanchana 3 which released in April 2019. Tarun will probably join the cast in the second schedule; kick starting by the end of July 2019.   




Tarun featured in movies where he was seen sharing screen space with Chiraneevi for Khadi No. 150, in Amar Akbar Anthony he featured along with Ravi Teja and with Pawan Kalyan he was seen in Katamarayudu.  Currently the makers are in search of an actor who will portray Tarun’s younger brother in the film.


Kiara excitedly shared the news of her film along with Akshay Kumar on her Instagram handle. The film is set to release on June 5, 2020 and is backed by A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House.




Laxmmi Bomb is a Bollywood remake of Kanchana series’ first film Muni that released in 2007. The remake revolves around a corrupt MLA  plot just like the original.
